Craig Baird

Craig Baird is a Tokyo-based technical recruitment consultant with a multidisciplinary background spanning aerospace operations, international business, and technology talent advisory.

Craig currently partners with organizations in Japan to deliver permanent hiring solutions across engineering, infrastructure, and technology transformation functions. He advises clients on talent strategy, market intelligence, and technical hiring challenges within Japan’s competitive recruitment landscape.

Prior to his career in recruitment, Craig built commercial experience in Japan through roles in business development, marketing, and nonprofit project coordination while completing his degree in International Business at Temple University Japan.

Before transitioning into business and recruitment, Craig served for nine years in the United States Coast Guard as an Avionics Electrical Technician and Aircrew-qualified Flight Mechanic supporting Airbus MH-65 Dolphin helicopter operations. His military experience developed a strong foundation in technical problem-solving, operational decision-making, and leadership under pressure.

Originally from the United States and now based in Tokyo, Craig brings a combination of technical operational expertise, international business perspective, and cross-cultural experience to supporting organizations in Japan’s evolving technology market.
