Celebrating an historic occasion at the British Embassy in Tokyo, Allied Women in Defence gather to acknowledge their roles in protecting those who protect us. Special thanks to Ambassador Julia Longbottom CMG for hosting, to Susan Oliver and James Angelus for organizing, to Sarah Atherton MP for her keynote address, and to Hayashi Mitsuko for her welcome remarks on behalf of JMOD. Nearly 100 women attended, from academia, business, diplomatic corps, private foundations, government agencies, and the military. Next event will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n
