Mr. Shankar is currently the President of the PNG India Business Council (PNGIBC), an Adjunct Fellow of The National Maritime Foundation Of India (NMF), former Core Committee member of the Current And Strategic Affairs forum, India, former National Advisor to the Australia India Business Council, and former Convenor of the Defence & Security National Industry Group in the Australia India Chamber of Commerce.
Mahadeven shares his interventions on strategic issues impacting trade and partnerships in the wider Indo Pacific Region maritime domain through his participation in the Indo Pacific Regional Dialogue hosted by the NMF and has participated in few other important events like the Indian Ocean Region Dialogue hosted by the Perth US Asia Institute, University of Western Australia jointly with the India Foundation, together with DFAT, Australia and MEA, India.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant from India and Australia, CPA from Papua New Guinea, and a qualified Professional Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Australia, Mahadevan provides professional strategic advisory and corporate restructuring advice using his global experiences.
He is a former Partner of the largest Big 4 Accounting firm, founder of Arzuh International, Australia, and MASH Advisory Limited (MASHAL), Papua New Guinea. He has been instrumental in facilitating the MOUs signed between SIDM, India with AIDN, Australia and ISIC Japan.
